Alison Nicholson Cards

I spent many hours sketching the lively English Lop piglets and the Saddleback piglets. Of course they are constantly moving and my first attempts are often awkward and anatomically weird. Over time I became more adept at catching their likeness but often I was missing trotters, legs, heads or tails. My finished paintings are a composite of hundreds of sketches.
